But be careful not to use it near flammable substances and store away in a cool, dry place. You can use a surface + air disinfectant for better all-round protection.

You can use disinfectant sprays on surfaces such as door knobs, handles, kitchen counters, switches and even furniture. Did you know disinfectant sprays are good even on soft surfaces such as furniture & cushions as they seep-in, disinfect and evaporate? Can I use disinfectant sprays on fruits and vegetables?

No. Do not use disinfectant sprays directly on edible material as they contain chemicals that are not meant to be consumed. Please use disinfectant spray as directed on the packaging only. There are separate vegetable and fruit washes available with that have food-grade ingredients that sanitize your fruits and vegetables of germs, viruses and bacteria. Do take advantage of them.

Is benzalkonium chloride safe to use for sanitizing and disinfecting?

While there are many types of sanitizers available, Benzalkonium Chloride (BKC) is a clinically approved ingredient that works just as well as alcohol-based sanitizers, without the side-effect of dry skin. The uses of BKC are widespread and have been tested under various conditions to have positive results.

Most disinfectant sprays are water soluble. Long lasting disinfectants contain ingredients that create a fine layer that continuously protects even in contact with a contaminated surface. It comes off with frequent usage/washing over time.
